Ecova Demonstrates Digital Engagement Solution at CES 2017

One of the most exciting events for consumers and innovators is here: the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) January 5th through 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada. This gathering of inventors and visionaries—and the people they hope will eventually use their products—is where many of the world’s most significant product innovations have been launched, including the first VCR, compact disc player, DVD, HDTV, tablets, notebooks, Android devices, ultra HDTV, 3D printers and more.

The first CES took place in New York City in 1967, making this year the event’s 50th anniversary – and this year, ENGIE Insight (formerly Ecova) will be joining ENGIE’s booth at the show. Mike Kaplan, vice president of product marketing for Ecova, will be presenting and demonstrating our new Digital Engagement Solution, powered by Retroficiency Analytics. Mike has more than 15 years of technology marketing and energy efficiency experience, with expertise in driving customer adoption for new innovative technology solutions.

While this solution is not the typical consumer offering that you might see at CES, it is a new and exciting offering for large and small businesses and utilities to drive deeper energy savings, increase customer satisfaction, and boost adoption of programs and products. The solution includes three components: a Customer Portal that shows businesses how they are using energy and how they can improve; Marketing Campaigns that help utilities deliver the right message to the right customer at the right time; and an Online Marketplace that connects business customers interested in energy efficiency projects to contractors that can implement those projects. The Digital Engagement Solution can help utilities increase business customer program and product uptake by four times or more.

One of the most innovative aspects of this solution is the Retroficiency Analytics engine that powers it. ENGIE Insight can analyze a building’s energy usage in a matter of minutes (something that traditionally would take weeks or even months with an on-site auditor) and provide personalized energy usage analysis and recommendations for improvements.

How do ENGIE Insight and the Digital Engagement Solution fit in at CES?
